Sorry for the 2 month hiatus, I went on vacay (an 8 day cruise to the southern Caribbean) back in May and just couldn’t seem to get back in the swing of things once I got back. I have also been working hard to launch my vintage shop. I had a couple set backs but they have been resolved and I am pressing forward. All the product shots are complete, now comes the task of loading everything into the store. I’ve given myself until the end of the month to get everything going and off the ground. So look for a 4th of July launch weekend, as well as discount codes for my store launch! 🙂
Over the weekend, I got a chance to browse through a majority of the Resort 2014 Collections. I was impressed with many of the collections. Resort collections are always fun and interesting because designers feel more freedom to play with different aesthetics, prints, textures and colors. There are collections that feature more fall/winter apparel, while others feature spring/summer apparel.
My favorite collections were from the Moschino Design House. Both Moschino and Moschino Cheap + Chic show up and showed out. They are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and kicked off the celebration with an extravaganza in Shanghai showcasing their new resort collections.
Moschino was super sophisticated, yet playful, with nautical vibes, floral frocks, embellished top coats and cool street wear that the label is known for. Moschino Cheap + Chic went 60s flower child for this collection, which was a complete 180 from the punk inspired Fall collection.
I am totally in love with both collections…enjoy the complete collections below!
